A Carol Stream man was denied bail today in a slaying last year in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago . Cook County Circuit Judge Adam D. Bourgeois Jr. ordered that Maurice Jackson, 27, of the 100 block of Meadow Lane, remain in Cook County Jail until his next court date on Monday.
